OHV Area is one of the world’s most famous and challenging off road trails. Each year, thousands of off road enthusiasts flock to this legendary 8,000-acre North Carolina playground. |
Located near Murphy, North Carolina in the Nantahala National Forrest, Tellico winds through the Unicoi Mountains spanning 40 miles of the most technical trails you’ll ever experience.
Tellico
features numerous
trails, each
with varying
degrees of
difficulty.
Among them,
you’ll find legendary obstacles like Guardrail, Helicopter Pad, Slick Rock and School Bus.

Overall, the Tellico
OHV area is comprised of steep winding terrain populated with rock piles, stream beds and some gnarly tree roots and stumps.
You
can access the
park on the
Tennessee side
through Tellico
Plains and on
the North Carolina
side from Murphy.
Either way entrance
to the park
is just $10
per vehicle
(a bargain at
10 times that
price). |

| Tellico will challenge even the most seasoned Jeepers, so make sure your vehicle is up to task. A suspension lift, lockers and full cage roll bar are highly recommended. |
